The Youkai-like Human's Love Empty
PostSubject: The Youkai-like Human's Love   The Youkai-like Human's Love I_icon_minitimeSat Nov 21, 2009 3:57 pm

Yuri. Sakuya x My character. It's pretty long. D:

Chapter 1:
Meiling hummed as she watered the tulips, then looked up to see a girl, maybe 15, walk across the courtyard towards the mansion’s entrance. Curious, she sprinted over to the girl to question her, “You, who are you and why are you here?” she inquired, ready to fight. The girl looked up and smiled, “I am here to see Ms. Remilia Scarlet; I have business with her.” Meiling was surprised, and it showed, Meiling usually would know Remi’s visitors if she were to have any but this girl were different. Meiling called a maid who walked past her and told her to ask Remi herself about it. “Until I know for sure if you to be let in I have to keep you here.” She said turning back to the girl, “What’s your name anyhow?” The girl giggled and replied “My name is Jennifer, and who, may I ask, are you?” Meiling was even more surprised, did this girl… did Jennifer know where she was? Did Jennifer know how strong Meiling was? Jennifer seemed to be human, so why wasn’t she afraid? “I am Meiling… the garden keeper.”, “Well Meiling, it is very nice to meet you this fine day~!”
Ten minutes passed and the maid returned and whispered into Meiling’s ear. Meiling’s eyes widened and she looked back at who she had thought was an average human who was smiling ever so innocently. “G-Go right ahead… Master Remilia is waiting for you in her chamber.” She said quietly, quivering. Meiling couldn’t even act like herself; she had been overcome by fear. Jennifer smiled and thanked her and began to walk into the mansion. As she past Meiling she stopped and murmured “If I wanted to kill you, you would be dead. You have no reason to fear me. As long as you are with Ms. Remilia Scarlet you are safe.” She snickered and continued walking. Meiling was stunned; this girl was the one whose powers surpassed even Master Remi. This surprised her beyond her own belief. She dropped to her knees and stared at the floor, trying to regain her composure.
Jennifer entered the mansion and gazed at how beautiful it was. Sakuya walked down the main stair case and looked at the girl “What is your business here?” she asked, hiding her hand armed with knives behind her back. Jennifer looked up and blushed as she beheld Sakuya’s beauty. She shook her head free of any thoughts that would keep her mind off the task at hand and replied “I am Jennifer, I am here to speak to Ms. Remilia Scarlet; I have been invited so if you don’t mind, I need to find her chamber.” Sakuya knew if Meiling let her in then it must be true. “Come with me.” She said in a tone as if she were bothered.
The two went up the stairs and down a few hallways before coming upon Remi’s door. Sakuya knocked on the door “Yeah?” someone called from the other side of the door “There is a Ms. Jennifer here to see you madam, if I may escort her in.” there was a pause “Alright, come in!”. As Sakuya opened the door Jennifer noted that Sakuya had such great etiquette and manners. They stepped inside and Sakuya walked to the back right corner of the room, to stay out of the way and observe. “Hey Jen-Jen~” Remilia called in a condescending tone. Jennifer looked at her, not amused “Let’s just get down to business Remi.” She replied, getting serious. Sakuya was startled by this, this girl’s entire attitude had suddenly changed, and the aura she was giving off completely changed the atmosphere of the room. Remilia glared at Jennifer “Sakuya, leave us.” She said as if shooing her off. Sakuya nodded, bowed and left the room. Wondering what exactly they would talk about.
An hour or so passed and Sakuya still was standing outside the door, she was told to leave them but that didn’t mean she was completely dismissed, it was temporary. The door opened and Jennifer walked out and greeted Sakuya with a smile. Sakuya thought to herself ‘Is this girl bipolar or something?’ but she didn’t really care, she just wanted to know what they had talked about. “Remilia said you are to be my personal servant during my stay.” Sakuya suddenly felt tense, why her? She was the head of all the servants, she had so much work to do, and on top of this she was to take personal care of this girl? She sighed and let it go “Very well Master.” Jennifer looked at her as if she were speaking another language, “Jen.” “Master Jen.” “No. Just Jen.” “But…” “No. It’s just Jen.” Sakuya sighed again, deeper “Fine! ... Irritating little brat…” to this Jennifer giggled. Why would she laugh at this? Wait… she was staying here?! What kind of business was going on?

Chapter 2:
Sakuya walked in front of Jennifer, still upset over these events, showing her to her room. Jennifer followed closely behind and soon Sakuya decided to ask about these sudden changes. “So, why has Master Remilia invited you to stay here?” she asked, hoping they were the right words to get an answer out of her “That is secret. Not something I can tell you.” Jennifer replied ending with a yawn, Sakuya was getting irritated. “Well… How do you know Master Remilia?” Jennifer stretched “That is the past, it’s not important.” Sakuya twitched with anger, would she get any answers at all from this idiot?! “Are you a human?” she asked, thinking she knew the answer already, someone so ignorant would have to be human. “That is a difficult question.” Sakuya stopped and faced the girl, startled by her words. “I am sort of a human, my parents were at least… but I might not be one considering some other things. Besides that why are you asking these series of questions? Am I being interrogated? What’s the crime officer?” Jennifer laughed and Sakuya stared at her, what could she possibly mean other things?
They arrived at Jennifer’s room; Jennifer walked over and sat on her bed which was larger than she was used to, she looked perplexed by the size. Sakuya continued to stand, waiting to be dismissed as Jennifer explored her room. Then a question came into Sakuya’s head “Don’t you have any luggage?” Jennifer stopped and looked up at her “Nope. Don’t need any.” Sakuya looked at her with the face that said ‘Wow. Are you retarded?’ “Why, may I ask, not?” she asked in an irritated tone. “I just don’t, so don’t worry about me sweetie.” Jennifer smiled and Sakuya only got angrier. Sweetie? What gave her the right to call her that? Though it may be over reacting… still, this was too far. “Fine then! As you please master!” Sakuya yelled, still holding back most of her frustration. Why would Remilia make Sakuya serve someone like this? Jennifer grinned and got up from the bed placing a hand on Sakuya’s shoulder “Please be calm Ms. Sakuya. I know how frustrating this must be but I assure you, I by no means mean to cause you discomfort. I’m not your true master so whenever you are angry at me you can whack me on the head and leave if you want.” Jennifer giggled and Sakuya looked at her again, this girl was so strange, but her words were comforting somehow. The atmosphere turned awkward and Sakuya punched Jennifer’s head causing a sound loud enough to echo through half of the mansion then walked away.
The time for lunch arrived, it was to be served in the garden so Sakuya returned to Jennifer’s room to alert her. Sakuya knocked on the door lightly “Master Jennifer, lunch is to be served in the garden in ten minutes.” “There is no master Jennifer here m’am.” Sakuya sighed, “Jen, lunch is going to be served in the garden in ten minutes, and I shall escort you when you are ready.” Jennifer opened the door showing she had changed into a casual pale red dress. “Then shall we go to lunch Ms. Sakuya?” she showed a big smile to Sakuya “Of course…” Sakuya blushed slightly and began walking with her towards the garden. “Madam… if it is not too much to ask… What can you tell me about yourself?” Sakuya requested, still curious of this girl. “Well… I’m a human and I have a big job to do. Remilia is helping me out to make sure it gets done correctly.” Sakuya was happy to finally get a real answer. They reached the garden before Sakuya could gather more information but Sakuya had a feeling she could finally start to learn more, even if the explanations would be vague, they are explanations that Sakuya would not have otherwise.

The Youkai-like Human's Love Empty

Chapter 3:
Sakuya lead Jennifer to her seat and stood nearby in case she may need something, or maybe if she would have the time to tell her anything more about this ‘job’ she had. Two maids walked down the courtyard and placed Jennifer’s lunch onto the table but Jennifer just stared at the dishes, flustered. “Is there anything wrong with the food madam?” Sakuya inquired, hoping Jennifer wouldn’t notice she didn’t refer to her as Jen. “No… but I can’t eat all this.” Sakuya looked at the dishes, they weren’t big portions “Besides that, where is your lunch Ms. Sakuya?” Sakuya was confused; did Jennifer really not understand the difference in rank between the two? “I have my lunch when you dismiss me, in the maid’s quarters.” Jennifer stood and gestured Sakuya to take her seat, Sakuya didn’t want to be told something so cliché as ‘That is an order~” so she sat down and moved her eyes back onto Jennifer. “So madam… If you could please tell me more.” Jennifer stood there, spacing out, watching the sky. Sakuya tried to figure out what she was looking at, looking into Jennifer’s dark green eyes and then trying to find out its trajectory. Jennifer suddenly spoke “I am not all that special. I just have a job to do, a one time thing. I’m not very interesting but I can tell you one story.” Sakuya smiled slightly but hid it, biting her lip softly.
Jennifer sat down onto the ground and kept gazing into the sky “Well, when I was young, 10 or so, I had been living in a small village, I obviously am not from Gensokyo. I had played with the children of the village until one day they said a girl was missing.” Sakuya was captivated already by this story and was not letting her eyes leave Jennifer for a second. “The group of children had looked up to me, as if I were some kind of leader. So as the so called leader I was to investigate and try to find the girl. I figured out… a certain vampire had taken her.” Sakuya gulped, this story sounded familiar, and she knew why. Jennifer looked over at Sakuya “So I decided to try and get her back. I fought that vampire and almost killed myself in the process.” “Master Remilia almost killed you?!” Jennifer laughed “No, no way!” Sakuya looked at her in confusion. “I did. My powers come from pushing myself to the extreme limit, and my powers damage my body, badly.” Jennifer paused “I didn’t win, I didn’t lose either though. But I didn’t get the girl back. I wonder if that was a bad or a good thing.” Jennifer was again, staring off into space then she got up. “Well Ms. Sakuya, was that enough of a story for you?” she asked grinning. Sakuya looked over at her and smiled “Yes, it was, thank you madam but you may call me Sakuya.” “Then you can call me Jen.” “Fair enough then.”
Sakuya realized she was sitting in front of Jennifer’s food. Sakuya began to get up but was stopped by Jennifer’s hand, pressing her shoulder gently back down. “Sakuya, you should eat, you have had a long day and it is only an hour past noon.” Sakuya knew there was no use in arguing with this girl, it would get her no where so she picked up her utensils and ate. “So… in what way do your powers hurt you?” Sakuya asked as she cut her food “I receive my energy from a higher being, it is too much for my body to hold so when I release it… it will damage my body inside and out.” Jennifer pulled her dress to reveal a badly scarred thigh. Sakuya gasped and Jennifer pulled her dress back down, “I’m sorry! It’s disgusting right… not something to show as someone is eating.” She half smiled. “That’s not it. It’s the fact such damage could come from only your own powers. And this isn’t all there is, I expect.” “Of course not, it includes my stomach, back and most of my body.” Sakuya looked away, feeling this was partly her fault. Some of those scars on that girl’s body were her own doing… if she hadn’t fought Remilia then... “I’m sorry, I was being nosey. It’s not my place as a maid to question-.” Jennifer stopped her, “You had every right to question me, I am intruder in your household, I understand, so don’t worry about it Sakuya.” Sakuya blushed slightly, why did this make Sakuya so happy?

The Youkai-like Human's Love Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Youkai-like Human's Love   The Youkai-like Human's Love I_icon_minitimeSat Nov 21, 2009 3:59 pm

Chapter 4:
After Sakuya finished her lunch the two walked back to Jennifer’s room in silence, Sakuya felt that enough had been revealed today. They opened the door and Jennifer sat at a small table that was placed in the middle of the room as Sakuya continued standing, seeing if she would be dismissed. “Sakuya, come over here for a second?” Jennifer called from the table, Sakuya nodded and walked over to her “What is it Jen?” “I wanted to know if you would go for a walk with me.” Sakuya was surprised; this girl would want to spend time with her? It wasn’t a common thing because Sakuya wasn’t too kind or open to others, to see someone could really act that way like Remilia was comforting. “Where would you like to walk to?” Jennifer smiled, “Just around the garden.” Sakuya’s face turned red, she thought of Jennifer and her walking around the garden together… wouldn’t this make them look like a couple? Sakuya shooed away the thought, everyone in the mansion knew that Sakuya had been assigned the task of watching over Jennifer, obviously because they knew they would have to start doing the chores themselves during this. Sakuya couldn’t trace the reason why she would even think of such a possibility and gave up eventually, labeling it a random thought. “Of course I will walk with you.” She replied after some thought. Jennifer smiled and thanked her then Sakuya was dismissed to go back to her room to get changed, Jennifer claimed the maid outfit was too formal.
Sakuya entered her room and was instantaneously tackled by a group of maids. “How did it go?” “Is she pretty?” “Is she nice?” “Did she kick you out?” question after question, Sakuya could barely keep up. Sakuya stopped them and got up from the floor “I’m only back here to get dressed, and then I am going on a walk with Master Jennifer.” She said, her face, again, turning red. The maids squealed in excitement while Sakuya thought they had lost their minds. “You must really like her! You’re in such a good mood!” Sakuya glared back at them “What makes you say that?” she demanded, reaching into her dresser, shifting around clothes, looking for the right thing to wear. “Well… you haven’t hurt us even though we are pestering you about something personal.” Sakuya paused, they were right. She looked back at them, blushing “Shut up.” She couldn’t think of any other words. The maids pulled her from the dresser and dragged a seat in front of the vanity, making Sakuya sit down. “It’s time for a make over Sakuya~” Sakuya’s eyes widened in shock and she tried to wriggle loose but it showed no results. The maids held Sakuya down as one took off Sakuya’s bonnet then pulled her hair back into a messy bun. Another maid took out a stick of dark red lipstick and slowly went over Sakuya’s lips while other maids stripped her and picked out clothes for her to wear. Sakuya was getting extremely irritated and was almost to the point she would stop time and beat the crap out of them but she knew this torture was almost over, some maids put the clothes they had picked on her and Sakuya looked in the mirror, she was beautiful, she knew, but she didn’t want to admit it. Sakuya pushed them off and then took note that twenty minutes had passed, she was sure Jennifer was waiting at the main staircase of the mansion, so she gave the maids one last dirty look and hurried off to meet Jennifer.
Jennifer watched as Sakuya swiftly turned the corner and hurried down the remaining steps, noting her beauty as she did before, Jennifer was stunned. Sakuya asked herself why she was hurrying and again couldn’t find an answer. Jennifer regained her composure and greeted Sakuya with a warm smile that made Sakuya’s chest grow hot. Then the two headed out to the garden to see Meiling glaring at Jennifer from behind a hedge, thinking she had gone unnoticed. Jennifer looked back at Sakuya with a look asking if this girl was serious, Sakuya nodded and pulled Jennifer, walking with her down a different pathway as to avoid a confrontation. Then a loud ‘thump’ noise came from behind them, Meiling had slammed her head into the ground in frustration, Sakuya had no problem with this.
Sakuya was constantly holding down her skirt so it wouldn’t be blown in the wind to reveal her panties, she wasn’t used to skirts, let alone short skirts. Jennifer didn’t seem to notice and only smiled, staying close to Sakuya’s side. “How long may I ask you are staying Jen?” Sakuya asked awkwardly trying to start a conversation “I’ll be out of your hair in two weeks~.” Jennifer replied giggling “T-That’s not how I meant it...” Sakuya mumbled. Sakuya wasn’t used to trying to be nice and she really had forgotten how. Suddenly Jennifer stopped and was staring into a rose bush, “What’s the matter Jen?” Sakuya asked, worried. Jennifer walked over to the bush and pulled out a baby bird, “This… the poor thing has a broken wing. Must have broken when it first tried to fly…” Jennifer held it in her palms and then asked Sakuya to turn around, Sakuya obeyed. Jennifer gave her the all clear and Sakuya turned back around, to see the little bird flying away. Sakuya looked to Jennifer’s arm and saw she had a large cut across her palm, she knew what had happened and stayed quiet. So this is her kind of capabilities, Sakuya thought to herself.

The Youkai-like Human's Love Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Youkai-like Human's Love   The Youkai-like Human's Love I_icon_minitimeSat Nov 21, 2009 4:00 pm

Chapter 5:
The two continued the walk and Jennifer pretended nothing had happened, she taped up her hand with cloth she had in her front pocket. Sakuya felt like the air had become awkward and she tried to think of another subject to talk about to help get her mind off of Jennifer’s powers. Sakuya looked over at Jennifer who seemed unaffected by this sudden silence, then Sakuya spoke “You know… for such a pest you really are quiet at times.” She said trying to stay cool. Jennifer smiled “I guess I am” she replied “But for a girl with a reputation to be ruthless you are actually really nice.” Sakuya blushed and turned her head away, not wanting Jennifer to see. Then suddenly Jennifer stopped in her tracks and looked towards a window on the top floor of the mansion “What’s going on Jen?” Sakuya inquired. “I heard a scream… Sakuya, let’s go inside.” Jennifer replied in a more serious tone. To hear this voice, Sakuya knew something had to be wrong; Jennifer had never been this serious before except the time she spoke to Master Remilia. Sakuya thought about what she could do and nothing would come without consequences, she decided to just wait for Jennifer’s orders for now. Though Sakuya was still curious, Sakuya hadn’t heard a scream.
Jennifer was running as fast as she could and Sakuya could barely keep up, the two sprinted up the stairs as fast as their bodies would permit them. They turned towards Remilia’s room after the first flight of stairs to see Flandre on the ground, crying in torn clothes. Jennifer walked over to her, panting heavily “W-What happened Ms. Flandre?” she asked, hand on Flandre’s shoulder. Flandre sneered at first from the touch of the girl but looked up and confirmed that she meant no harm, only to help. Her eyes began to fill with tears again “R-Remi…” She started quietly “T-They took Remi!” Jennifer stood without a word and turned to Sakuya “Watch Flandre please.” Sakuya shook her head “Not a chance. Lady Remilia is my master. I will protect her to the end. It is my responsibility.” Jennifer looked back down to Flandre and back to Sakuya “Fine.” She said and she picked up Flandre. Flandre’s face turned red with anger and embarrassment. “No! No! Put me down god damn it!” she screamed as she bit down onto Jennifer’s shoulder. Jennifer held in scream and dropped her “F-Fuck!” Flandre growled “If you need someone to watch me I’ll have China watch me!” Jennifer rubbed her shoulder “You could have said that earlier… Which way did they go?” she asked remembering the problem at hand. Flandre pointed to her right, down the hallway. Jennifer turned to where Sakuya was standing but she saw Sakuya had already started running. Jennifer smiled and darted after her.
The two dashed down the hallway, breathing heavily, trying to catch sight of the “They” that Flandre had referred to. Turning corner after corner “Damn it. Damn it. Damn it!” Sakuya said half to herself, biting her lip softly. Jennifer’s eyes widened and she stopped Sakuya as they came to a dead end. In front of them stood a strange figure, a girl, a young one holding Remilia. Sakuya pulled out her knives at the moment she saw the girl by instinct “Who are you?” she demanded holding back her fury. The figure turned around and an evil grin crossed her face, “Wouldn’t you like to know? I am only taking my sister back with me…” Sakuya threw a knife, purposefully missing the figure by less than an inch. “Don’t screw with me. Put down Lady Remilia!” Remilia turned her head and looked to Sakuya, moving her lips slowly, forming inaudible words, the words “Help me.” Sakuya dashed forward, knives in hand and stabbed the figure in the abdomen. It coughed up blood, dropping Remilia and swaying back and forth, covering its wound. “How dare you…” Sakuya picked up the exhausted Remilia from the floor, and then looked up at the figure, realizing it had the likeness of Flandre. “N-….No way…” she muttered.
Jen placed her hand on Sakuya’s shoulder “Run.” She mumbled “Run away, take Lady Remilia somewhere safe. I can handle this.” Sakuya looked to her and shook her head, she wanted to speak but found it hard; she was still in shock. Finally she was able to form words “Not Lady Flandre… you can’t!” Jen sighed and shut her eyes tightly, she softly bit her lower lip “It’s not Flandre,” she explained slowly “It is a monster that wants to be her, I’ll explain it all later, just get out of here, you’re endangering your master!” All Sakuya needed to motivate her was those words; she dashed out of the hallway, down the stairs and outside where she realized that Jen was right. Outside Sakuya saw Flandre, with Meiling, smiling and laughing, waiting to be greeted.
Sakuya sat and waited, holding Remilia close. Almost an hour passed and Sakuya became even more worried than she had been before, was Jen really okay? She shook her head, trying to rid herself of the thoughts that were intruding her mind. She didn’t even know why she was thinking about Jen at a time like this, Remilia, her master, was unconscious. Suddenly the door to the mansion opened and Jen walked out soon to collapse onto the ground. Sakuya carefully placed Remilia on the ground and ran over to Jen. “So, how’d it go?” She asked looking down at her. To this Jen only held her hand up; Sakuya stared at her hand, if Jen wanted to be helped up it wasn’t going to happen but soon she realized what the gesture meant as Jen gave Sakuya a thumbs up. She had won.
